Camp Recount
We get on the bus to go to camp in the morning, when we get there we met all our camp leaders and put our stuff on a trailer and walked to the beach and played some games.
Then we walked down the beach we were looking for rubbish to pick up. Soon we ate lunch and had a break. then we looked for some more rubbish.
After that we made fires and cooked damper bread. Then half of the class went for a swim but not me. All the people that didn’t want to go for a swim made a fire and I cooked my sandwiches on it and we made a bridge so we can cross the creek without getting wet.
We made huts and it was fun, then we played more games, after that we went up to the campsite and set up our beds. Next we made dinner. We were making spaghetti bolognese. We had to get our water out of the toilet room, and it was taking ages for the water to boil. Riley and I had to chop all the veggies. It was yummy Ms Veale tasted all of the group’s food and my group won. When it got dark we played spotlight and night line then we went to bed.
We woke up at 6.00 am in the morning and it was raining a bit. The first thing that we did was go for a long run and when we got back we made breakfast. It was porridge and we put chocolate chips on top. After eating we packed our bags onto the trailer.
There was this thing called ocean Olympics There were 6 events, each event when you completed it you got a token. When you get six tokens you run to the finish line - my class Won! we got a trophy filled with fruit burst. Then we went for a long walk to the Teramakau bridge and hopped on the bus and went home.
